At Savia, I find it important that you can trust that your personal data is handled carefully and confidentially. In this privacy statement, I explain what data I collect, why I need it, and how I handle it.

1. About Savia

Savia is responsible for the processing of your personal data.

2. What data do I collect?

When you make an appointment or fill in the online intake form, I may process the following data:

  • name;

  • phone number and email address;

  • information needed to schedule an appointment;

  • skin type and skin condition;

  • information about skin problems, such as acne;

  • information about allergies;

  • information about medication use;

  • other health information relevant to the treatment.

I ask for this information in order to carry out the treatment as safely and appropriately as possible.

3. What do I use your data for?

I use your personal data exclusively for my services. This means I use the data to:

  • schedule and manage appointments;

  • contact you when necessary regarding your appointment;

  • carry out your treatment in a safe and appropriate manner;

  • take into account things like allergies, medication use, and skin problems;

  • answer questions you ask via my website or directly to me.

I do not use your data for other purposes unless a valid legal basis exists for doing so.

4. Health data

Through the intake form, you may provide information about your health, skin problems, allergies, and medication use. Some of this data may qualify as special categories of personal data, including health data.

I handle this information carefully and confidentially. This data is only used when relevant to the safe and responsible performance of your treatment.

5. Online appointments and website

I use Wix for my website and online appointment booking.

When you book an appointment or fill in a form via my website, the data you provide is processed in order to schedule your appointment and carry out my services.

Wix processes certain data on behalf of Savia as a service provider. I ensure that personal data processed via my website is appropriately protected.

6. Who has access to your data?

In principle, only I have access to your personal data.

If someone helps me manage or maintain my website, this person may, if necessary, have access to certain data processed via the website.

I do not share your personal data with other parties unless this is necessary for my services, legally required, or another valid legal basis exists for doing so.

7. Photos and videos

Savia does not, as a standard practice, take photos or videos of clients during treatments.

If, in the future, I want to take a photo or video of you — for example, for Instagram, TikTok, or my website — I will always discuss this with you in advance.

I do not create or publish recognizable photos or videos of you without your prior consent.

Consent for taking or using photos or videos is separate from your treatment. You are therefore never obligated to give consent for this.

You can always withdraw previously given consent for future use.

8. Social media

Savia uses Instagram and TikTok to share information about the practice, treatments, and other content.

I do not post recognizable photos or videos of clients without prior consent.

If you contact me yourself via social media, these platforms may process your personal data according to their own privacy policies.

9. Email and future marketing

At this time, Savia does not send newsletters or other structural marketing messages.

In the future, Savia may choose to send emails about, for example, treatments, offers, or news.

When consent is required for this, it will be requested in advance.

You can unsubscribe from such emails at any time.

Savia does not use WhatsApp for marketing purposes.

10. Cookies

Savia's website may use cookies necessary for the website to function properly.

When cookies are used that require prior consent, this consent will be requested via the website.

11. How do I secure your data?

I take appropriate measures to protect your personal data against loss, unauthorized access, and other unlawful use.

Because I may also process health information, I pay extra attention to the confidentiality of this data.

12. How long do I keep your data?

Savia does not retain your personal data longer than necessary.

Personal data and data from the intake form are kept for a maximum of one month after the last contact or the last treatment, and are then deleted, unless a legal obligation requires certain data to be kept longer.

When data is no longer needed, it is deleted or destroyed as soon as possible.

13. Your rights

You have various rights regarding your personal data. Among other things, you can:

  • ask which personal data I hold about you;

  • request to view your data;

  • request correction of inaccurate data;

  • request deletion of your data;

  • object to certain forms of processing;

  • request that the processing of your data be restricted;

  • withdraw your consent when processing is based on consent.

Savia may update this privacy statement when the practice's way of working or applicable legislation changes.
